42nd letter to Oliver

Dear Oliver,

You know, I admire you because I can see that you always try your best to show up for others. 

You make yourself available when people around you needed someone to talk to, someone who will listen, and I observe that you do your best to make others happy :)

Thank you for showing up for others, please know that for sure those people around you (including me! ☺️) are blessed to have you as a good friend. You may not realize it but others crave your company, I think you can observe that a lot of your friends join you in your game — it is because we seek the kind of warmth that you radiate, I can’t put it into words but there’s something special about you that we can’t find in other people’s company. Maybe it is your empathy or your willingness to offer your time just so others will not be alone ♥️

I hope and pray that you’ll treat yourself with the same kindness that you give to other people. I hope you will never get tired of showing up for yourself too, Oliver 🙏

I was worried because I translated your status in Line app and it gets translated as this: “I don’t want to wake up” 🥺🥺 (I am not sure if the translation is correct)

I know things get heavy inside you sometimes, I know that there are certain emotions that are hard to process, that sometimes mix of all emotions cloud up our mind making it overwhelming for us to understand and carry inside.

I may not fully understand whatever you are feeling inside but please know that I am here for you 🥺

I may not give you the best advice but I can be there to silently sit with you until it doesn’t feel heavy anymore 🥺
